Recess Ministries is dedicated to teaching kids the gospel in a way that is fun, exciting and encouraging. We want to equip them with the tools necessary to lead a life free from the entanglements of sin and to help them grow spiritually. We aspire to teach them the importance of hiding Gods word in their hearts and the blessings that come from knowing Him. We also promote family unity, spiritual growth and of course, have lots of fun in the process!
Nursery
Infants 6 weeks through 6 months are checked in at the counter right outside their room. Volunteers with a heart for babies will care for and tend to each child’s personal needs. Equipped with all the comforts of home, the Nursery provides modern toys that stimulate and promote physical as well as social development.
Toddlers
Children are promoted to the Toddler room when they turn 2 years old and are walking with confidence. After checking in at the Toddlers counter, children receive an age-appropriate Bible lesson with a snack, and then engage in free play with their peers.
Preschool
Children who are 3 years old and potty trained are promoted to the Preschool room. Preschoolers are checked in at the classroom door of the preschool class. They will spend half of their time in free play promoting social and physical development. Preschoolers also enjoy an age-appropriate Bible lesson, singing, and a craft time.
Kid’s Church
Kids who are Kindergarten through 6th grade meet in the Gym during the 9:30am Sunday morning service. All kids are checked in at the door where they pick up their name tags and head in the door for a high energy, fun filled time of worship, teaching and small groups. Join us as we trek through God’s Word each week!
RECESS LIVE begins Sept 19th!
Recess Live is our high energy Worship experience designed to meet the needs of the whole family. We meet at 11:00 AM in the Activities Center.
You and your family will not want to miss out on this incredible time of music, drama, video, and much, much more!
Kids Konnection
Wednesday nights from 7:00pm-8:00pm. All kids are invited to join us for an awesome adventure through God's Word. We will meet in the age and grade appropriate classrooms in the Children's Wing.
Please look for signs to direct you to the correct spot. Your kids will not want to miss this great hour of ministry time!
Bible Quizzing
Quizzing for the 2010-2011 school year begins on September 8th at 7:00pm. Look for the schedule of Quiz meets coming soon.
Special Events
We have a variety of events throughout the year including: FAM JAM Family Vacation Bible School, Trunk-or-Treat, Central Ohio District Summer Camps (1st-6th Grade), Family Nights, etc.
