the Desk of the Director....
We want to offer the best care for your precious child(ren). We are so excited to
have you in our childcare family. Please accept a warm welcome from New Albany
Christian Childcare. Our “soul” purpose: Caring for God’s kids!
I have been at New Albany Christian Childcare since June 2003. I have served
as a teacher, assistant director and now the director. I have a passion for children and
am excited to see the little ones grow in the love of Jesus. I am a graduate of Mount
Vernon Nazarene University with a B.A. in Elementary Education and a Master of
Education degree from Ashland University.
New Albany Christian Childcare is a ministry of New Albany First Church of the
Nazarene (NAFCON). We are happy to be a part of this loving church family. We are
fortunate to have a Childcare Chaplain, Pastor Kim Bobb. Pastor Kim is the
Children’s Pastor at NAFCON. She conducts chapel once a week for toddlers through
kindergarten. Chapel is a high energy time where the children sing songs, play games and
have an interactive Bible story. If you do not have a church family, we invite you to attend
NAFCON. Our services are on Sunday at 9 am and 11:00 am. We also have a service for
the whole family Sunday evenings at 6:00 pm.
I am sure you are overwhelmed with the amount of state required forms that we have
had you fill out. Fortunately you will be able to rest your writing hand until next year. The
medical forms need to be filled out once a year until your child has completed kindergarten.
If your child is a kindergartener or school age child we will need one form completed for
entrance.
Your family will get a code to enter the door. Each family gets a separate code, and it
is in the best interest of the safety of our children to keep that number confidential.

taking care of your little one(s). I have an open door policy, so please feel free to come in
or call with any questions. Our direct line is 614.855.7317. I am in the office from 6:45 am
until 2:45pm and Sarah, our office manager, is in the office from 10 am to 6 pm.
